Dr. Adam Kramer, DO

Dr. Adam Kramer recently performed robotic surgery on abdominal issues that I was experiencing. I would consider him to be a very excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anybody who is looking for a surgeon, who both listens and cares about the patient. He patiently answered all my questions, both pre and after surgery.

Dr. Kramer and his staff were highly professional and competent from the initial consultation to the pre-op, post-op and follow-up. The team at Lee’s Summit Hospital and Dr. Kramer exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Dr. Kramer and his team for surgical services!

Problematic. I had gallbladder surgery, went within six weeks when I was experiencing ongoing acid reflux, bile in throat when bending over, some mild pain near incision. After researching these symptoms online, I thought maybe I had a hernia. These concerns were dismissed in the course of an appointment that was approximately two minutes in length. The overall tone of the appointment was dismissive. An endoscopy later confirmed the presence of a small hernia and the occurrence of bile reflux. Problems continued, with meds prescribed for reflux. Eventually I was diagnosed with gastroparesis (no diabetes), which was not present before the surgery. I now have an ongoing condition that wasn't present prior to the surgery, and that requires many adjustments in lifestyle. I have been unhappy with the results of the surgery and even more unhappy with the cursory treatment I received from after returning to Dr. Kramer with concerns that were different than those that led to surgery.

Dr. Kramer repaired my incisional hernia and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! No one wants to have surgery but he talked me through the procedure, he answered all my questions and his residents and he himself spent time making sure I was prepared. Post operative pain was minimal and I feel like I have my life back!

He’s the best!!!! He repaired both of my hernias and I couldn’t be any happier. He’s changed my life. His staff is amazing too especially Kim. She was so kind and helpful.

Dr. Kramer and his team went above and beyond to help make sure I healed from surgery. They listened to my concerns and were always so kind and caring.

I turned to Dr K 3 times for breast lumps. This last time turned into a nightmare. He was spooked by what a radiologist told him,so sure my cancer had spread to my lymph nodes and beyond. Only after surgery and hearing the pathology report did I learn they were both wrong. I should've been warned about possible pain from lymph node removal.Now it's constant. When his staff couldn't get me answers, I reached out via FB,later being told by his staff that was inappropriate. I cancelled my follow up appt,not wanting more bleak and unjustified stats. I'm sorry,but who pays who? I got a certified letter,being refused in the future,as if I'd ever go back!

Dr. Kramer listened to my concerns and issues at first surgery consult and after reviewing my recent testing and labs recommended gallbladder surgery removal. He was 100% correct and after Him performing this surgery I feel great (Surgery performed 1 week ago). Dr Kramer is a very skilled and knowledgeable Surgeon whom I would highly recommend. After 2 years of dead ends with 2 different Gastro groups and multiple testing it's great to have a Dr. who was able to diagnose and correct my issues immediately. Thank you Dr. Kramer, Dan Czerniak

Trust Dr. Kramer, his residents and staff if you need surgery. He removed a portion of my colon using the Da Vinci robot and he was just the right person to handle my unusual situation. He answers all questions, is relaxed and kind, and has the confidence and skills to get you through safely. I don’t have enough words of gratitude for them.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kramer, and his nurse Kim. He told me today, I hold a special place in his heart. He lost sleep worrying about me & my healing abilities. They actually both gave me big hugs & told me they loved me today. I love them too! They are amazing, and I have no doubt things wouldn't have turned out this good anywhere else!
