Empathetic and highly skilled doctor
The office staff are very professional and Dr. Harris was punctual and prepared - he reviewed my health records before meeting with me! Though I was there for a pre-procedure visit for a colonoscopy and endoscopy, he noticed that I was in a great deal of pain due to multiple compression fractures of my spine (Osteoporosis related). He was genuinely concerned and he restored my faith that there still are some good doctors. Do not hesitate in seeing Dr. Harris. He is a skilled professional and you will be in competent hands!

refurral to other gastroentologists
After my last endoscopy with him he referred me to another specialist for my esophagis cause he couldn't help me any longer he says. Dr. Harris referred me to go see a stupid doctor in Chandler that specializes in esophageal problems all the way in Chandler from North Scottsdale. Had another endoscopy with him and told me stuff I already knew. He can't help me. Why is Dr. Harris referring me to somebody that doesn't know what they are doing. Please find another GI doctor if your gonna bounce all over the place to other GI's from Harris.

Patients should come first
I was going to Dr. Harris to have my annual testing because I have a family history of stomach cancer. After 5 years of seeing him and having the procedures with anesthesia and never had a problem with anesthesia. Now he informs me, I need clearance from a cardiologist. Meanwhile my EKG was is better than normal and haven't had any problems with my heart in many years. And on top of this, his MA told me it was ok to go to my primary care doctor WHICH WAS WRONG. My doctor showed me the consent form that only a cardiologist can sign. Terrible to make me and my wife go there for no reason. If I was you I'd go to a different gastroenterologist.

Dr. Harris is an amazing, caring doctor. He is incredibly knowledgeable about GI conditions, willing to work together with other doctors (PCP, OB) to give you the best care. His appointments are always thorough and comfortable- he never rushes. I’ve seen him for years and he kept me healthy through both of my pregnancies- called to check on me regularly and even came to the hospital to check on me & baby after delivery. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this man. Do yourself a favor and see Dr. Harris for any GI concerns you have. He is a once in a lifetime provider!
