Disappointed beyond words
My neurosurgeon suggested I go to him because I’m having unexplainable problems that I’d rather not get into. Anyway, I felt completely dismissed. He seemed inpatient and did not put much time into the in office exam. I started crying from the pain during the one of them. He basically said that, since all of my diagnostic image reports don’t show anything solid, that it’s in my head since pain is subjective. He went on to say that fix the subject (my brain) and the pain should get better. My total round trip commute of 7 hours to see him was a waste. Maybe he was great once upon a time, but his patience and listening skills aren’t there.

Well i went to Dr. Bender for an Independent medical exam so idk how this would differ from a treating doctor but my experience with him was very offensive. He asked about my criminal past and asked if i ever used crack or cocaine and when i told him firmly No and that i never ever even tried it he asked me “you sure” and then asked me the same question worded differently. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.
