Dr. Adam Baker, MD

2 years ago I shattered my ankle. I was fortunate to have Dr. Baker as my surgeon. I had 2 surgeries (the second was removing a screw that was no longer needed). While he can come across as deadpan at times, it is NOT due to lack of empathy, and believe it or not, he does have a great sense of humor. Through the 1.5 yrs of appointments with him, he may be the most compassionate Dr I've come across, even taking the time to ask about unrelated issues, and finding ways to support my health & wellbeing as a whole, not just fix the single thing in his specialty. It showed he cared enough to actually read my entire chart... and not all specialty Drs to do that. Before both surgeries he spent a decent amount of time in pre-op with me, and I actually saw him in the OR. Not something I've experienced with other surgeons. I share all this to speak to his great bedside manor. In terms of his knowledge and practice, he was correct with every medical decision & after care plan he made.

Dr. Adam Baker marginalized my lifestyle and gave me his personal opinions rather than a professional review of my ankle. He spoke to me in a condescending way that I doubt he would have spoken to a male. He disregarded my goals for recovery and refused to provide evaluation and treatment.

I found Dr Baker to seem knowledgable, but unfortunately he came across as , curt, condescending and judgmental, with no compassion. I would not recommend him to friends or family and will not be returning.

I started seeing Dr. Baker in 2014 until recently. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, confident and very passionate about his profession. I was fortunate and grateful to have him as my treating physician he is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him and his amazing staff to anyone who requires his health care.

Very straightforward and informative. He was knowledgeable about my condition and outcome. Saved my life with surgery and prompt for lifestyle changes.
