Dr. Abu Joseph, MD

ER doctor/Dr. Abu A. Joseph told me that it was stupid of me to come to the ER because my blood pressure is elevated...He went on to "educate" me on reasons that ones BP would become elevated and to let that be the reason for my visit but its "stupid" to come to the ER saying the reason for my visit is because my BP is elevated. My opinion is a a fact I am far from being stupid, I am the patient and not the doctor, I do have common sense to know that my BP is elevated but because I'm not a doctor I have no idea why it's elevated. I came to the hospital expecting to be treated with the same dignity and respect that I show to others. If I'd known what was causing me to be ill on that day and could have treated and prescribed medicine to myself then I would have done such but unfortunately I don't have the knowledge of a trained medical physician. 3 days later and the thought of being called stupid for coming to the ER for elevated BP is disturbing to me. Dr. Joseph has poor beside manner
