Dr. Abraham Kim, MD

I was referred to Dr. Kim for arthritis in both hips as well as recurring groin pain that’s been ongoing for close to 20 years. Dr Kim spent about a minute with me and said he needs to see an MRI to make a better diagnosis since the X-rays he saw didn’t appear too bad and actually showed pubic synthesis. He ordered an MRI of my pelvic area but the MRI technician said that could mean a hundred different things. But it was what he had ordered so he did the MRI and a few days later Dr Kim calls me back and said he didn’t find issues with my hips and to see a hernia specialist. I let him know if I had a hernia it would seem like pain would be more localized to one area. Dr Kim just blew me off and said he only specializes in hips and to see somebody else and not him. I almost pleaded, letting him know I just need an accurate diagnosis so I can start getting treatment and get rid of the pain. He simply dismissed my concerns and repeated he only know hips. I wouldn’t recommend him!

Hospital personal was very professional and friendly even though I was first in and last out for the day.

Bad experience all around, he forced me to get a cortisone injection, which I’m against it, but he insisted, hard time answering questions, all about $$$$$$ awful!!!!

All the preparation for the surgery was done in detail by Dr. Kim and his office staff was like oh well- oiled-machine”. The nurses who prepared me for surgery were detailed, helpful and answered all my questions along with making sure I was comfortable, taking care of any anxious feelings I had just before surgery. The surgery went well, along with my recovery. I was surprisingly pleased with how everything went. Memorial Care, Dr. Kim and the physical therapy I got from RAUSH Physical Therapy was outstanding!!

Had both of my knee partial replacements 3 months a part in 2023. I am very happy for the surgery results. Dr. Kim expertise on Knee replacement is the second to none.

I went to have a consultation with this Dr based on his educational background but in his profile doesn't say that he is non empathic with the patient, arrives late in a rush to the room, he spend 10 minutes and then he opens the door and finishes in the hallway asking for do not forget to make another appointment with him in a month . He did not examine me, he was arrogant and at the end he added "I hope there are no more questions" .

I tried to schedule hip surgery for three weeks, left 3 messages; no response, so I chose another doctor for my hip replacement.

Dr. Kim is the best doctor I’ve been to in a long time! He did my partial knee replacement. I have a very little scar! Dr. Kim is very kind, caring and knowledgeable. I recommend him for any problems you may have with your knees or joints.

I have had knee pain forever and it got worse 10 days ago. I got in to Dr. In 1 day. The office was very busy but very efficiently managed. Put on a pain plan and was out in 1 hour. Would highly recommend this Dr.

Dr. Kim was friendly and professional. He listened and addressed my concerns. Wait time was minimal and the exam was thorough.

I went to see Dr. Abraham Kim because of severe knee pain and MRI results that indicate there are issues with my knee. I traveled 1 hour to see the doctor, paid the $70 copayment and the doctor saw me not more than 10 minutes. The visit was rushed and he seemed annoyed that I asked questions. He said my knee Is normal wear for my age, but the pain is a lot for "normal". I brought the MRI images and the report and he did not even looked at the images and quickly read the report when i asked him to look at it. I had to tell him to look at the report! He read it quickly and said it is normal. The report states there is a complex tear of anterior horn lateral meniscus!! That is not normal. I was very disappointed my visit was so rushed and the doctor did not seem to care. After i insisted to read the report line by line, he disregarded the line that says there is a meniscus tear and offer to give me a cortisone shot on my knee and said it is not going to help with the pain.

Love Dr. Kim. I feel so confident about his diagnosis. Already have pain relief after 24 hours.
