Dr. Abhishiek Sharma, MD

Dr sharma's staff is rude, and have left my daughter high and dry with her recent brain surgery! She isnot, recovering from this traumatizing surgery he performed on her and now she has no neurosurgeon! Took her to appointment (not the 1st follow up) and they refused to see her, saying they do not take her secondary insurance, but didn't have a problem when she had surgery and at her 1st follow up. Shes ill, not recovered, now disabled and on top of that no doctor to help through this medical condition she put all her faith and trust in this doctor. This the most disgusting treatment a medical patient can endure. Will never ever recommend this dr or facility to anyonell, if I could give negative star I would!

First. Dr Sharma has a new office in Scottsdale. My family members have had 5 back surgeries between them, ALWAYS met with Dr Sharma. NOW you have to see a NP. Also, forget paying just the co-pay from your insurance, they claim they check your insurance website each time for what you owe. I was made to pay the office visit in full because "my deductible was not met, but depending on what my insurance pays,I may have a credit". $164.00 visit, not my $40.00 co-pay. Very disappointed that Dr. Sharma doesn't see his patients, must just do surgery. Also disjointed he allows his staff to treat patients disrespectfully, especially repeat patients that are well versed in the medical field and with insurance. Stay away from the billing manager, she's rude, talks over you, won't listen, and raises her voice. Very disappointed in Dr. Sharma's new persona and new staff. Looking for new surgeon, you should too.

I had surgery for a birth defect in my low back that was there for 52 years. I had crippling leg and back pain. Dr. Sharma fixed my spine and my leg pain went away when I woke up from surgery. He is a gem.

Dr. Sharma was on time, knowledgeable and spot on with his diagnosis. I wish I had found him sooner.

Dr Sharma and staff are always helpful,positive, and put up with my endless needs for insurance, and all the questions I have. Very thankful for the treatment I receive!!

Dr. Sharma was amazing. He explained my issue and got it fixed immediately. I am no longer in pain.

Dr. Sharma is great and should get 5 stars, however because his office staff is so bad with paperwork, i had to leave him. Some of us need fmla and leave of absence paperwork. I was even told by the office that all you get is 6 weeks EVEN IF YOU ARE STILL IN PAIN. So now I am on the hunt for a new doctor.

I saw Dr. Sharma for low back pain. I had a MRI done which clearly showed no herniated disc, but yet he wanted to do a a fusion on my back which was totally unjustified!!

Dr. Sharma is a very intelligent, respectful doctor who I highly recommend for your diagnosis and treatment. The office staff is exceptional as well. Thank you!

Dr. Sharma is caring, compassionate and informative doctor. Mary and Carmen are amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Sharma. I have had 2 surgeries performed by Dr. Sharma.

This man has no concept of patient compassion. I was referred to his office by my PCP for chronic pain. Rather than give me the chance of a visit, he punted back to my PCP for scans that HE required resulting in a pissing contest between him and my doctor. He also insisted I see a urologist but was vague on to what he required of that visit. My PCP elected to take the high ground but asked that I call Sharma's office back one last time to get clarification on the urologist request. This time around the girl on the phone claimed that they had no record of me even being refereed over there which was a lie. She was also clearly unwilling to follow up to find out where the mistake was and why they could not find my past conversations in their system. I told her that they were incompetent and hung up the phone. That is my conclusion: This doctor has no compassion, is lazy, and his office has no clue what they are doing. My advice: save yourself time and money and don't bother/

Since 2004 I have had 7 surgery/procedures performed on my Spine. I have met many amazing doctors/medical personal during this time. But Dr Sharma is Sharon #1 spot with Dr Keyvwn Abtin in OR. I am currently at home recovering from a permanent spinal cord stimulator implant. What words to describe Dr Sharma and his staff? Kind. Caring. Professional. Empathetic. Encouraging. I trust their judgement. Amazing team.

I have had back pain for years and when I met Dr. Sharma, he was thorough, honest and forthcoming. He told me that surgery was not going to help as opposed to offering me a procedure that I was not going to improve from. If you want an honest opinion, go see Dr. Sharma.

Abhi rocks! I have never met a doctor who asks his patients to call by his first name. He is thorough, experienced and down to earth.

I am glad I found Dr. Sharma. I had surgery from a different surgeon before but was left with more pain after surgery. He was willing to see me as a second opinion and surgery was scheduled right away. Highly recommend.

I found Dr Sharma after seeing 4 different spine surgeons. I have a disorder where my skull is too small for my brain and it pushed on my spinal cord which caused severe headaches. He was able to see me right away and I had surgery within the week. His sense of humor and clinical acumen are what separate him from other doctors. I have never found a more down to earth doctor who cares about his patients as much!

Dr Sharma is the real deal. He was honest and thorough and identified my problem right away. He did my surgery through a tiny incision and I went home the same day. I had a small bandaid on my back for a dressing. I went back to work 3 days after surgery. I can't say enough good things about Dr Sharma!
