I was nervous to have a total knee replacement at age 58, but Dr. Kandil put my mind at ease. He was professional, knowledgeable, and likable. His front office scheduler, Carmen, was also top-notch. He requires patients to attend a 'knee replacement' class at the hospital, which was a great way to get all my questions answered as well as hear questions from others that I hadn’t thought of. I had the surgery done at Stone Springs Hospital and Dr. Kandil used the MAKO robot during the surgery which I would highly recommend. I did not have as much post-operative pain as I thought I would. I was able to climb stairs and walk with a walker the same day as surgery, He was also easily accessible via phone or email, which I appreciated.

Dr. Kandil is a wonderful person and an excellent surgeon. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of his specialties.

Dr Kandil takes his time to explain injuries, procedures and the entire processes. He is very patient and understanding and never condescending. I had a fairly complex knee (tibial fractures and ruptured ACL) surgery and The incision healed beautifully and quickly, I have had no pain and the post op films are perfect. I cannot say. Enough good things about Dr. Kandil’s manner, knowledge and skills. (And I recently met another horsewoman who had a pretty serious femur fracture. She was also raving about her brilliant surgeon. You guessed it, Dr. Kandil.

I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Kandil for the outstanding success I am currently experiencing after he performed a reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder. Since I had a multitude of shoulder issues and was experiencing severe shoulder pain, Dr. Kandil's assessment and use of 3-dimential reconstructions from CT scan assisted him in determining exactly how to best treat my condition. I am less than two months after surgery and going to physical therapy to regain strength in my shoulder and arm. My arm motion is improving daily and I no longer am experiencing the severe pain I had prior to surgery. I can only state that choosing the right Doctor makes all the difference in a patience's surgical outcome. My sincere thanks to Dr. Kandil and his exceptional surgical skills.

Horrible doctor: long waiting time, spent 3 minutes with my son who had recurring ankle pain after seeing him 8 months ago and tried to send us to his friends podiatrists . Another long waiting time to get the note for school. Left disgusted: Why didn't he send my son 8 month's ago to a specialist if he doesn't know what was he doing? I'm sure he billed my insurance fat bill for 3 minute BS. + my copay.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Kandil. His staff are professional and friendly. My wait time was minimal. The office and waiting rooms were immaculate. Dr. Kandil took time to explain what my elbow issue was (being a nurse I already knew.) He told what his plan of care would be if my elbow bothered me. I would highly recommend him.

I would not recommend this doctor. He made me believe that surgery is the right and best option without explaining other options and without explaining the risks of having the surgery, don’t get trapped by the 5 star rating and end up in his surgery schedule.

Dr Kandil was thorough and explained the issues with my knees in easy to understand terms and his course of treatment resulted in eliminating my pain and restoring mobility. I have referred three individuals to Dr. Kandil with the confidence they will receive excellent care and a physician dedicated to his patients' well being. His credentials and experience are testament to why this gifted surgeon is our choice for care.

Great Experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The staff and the Doctor were wonderful. They were transparent and very clear about identifying the problem. I would recommend anyone that needs to see a Orthopedic to give Dr. Kandil a chance and you can see for yourself.

My daughter had her ACL repaired by Dr. Kandil and she received the utmost care! She felt completely comfortable with him while he treated her. He is/was patient, listens intently and provides all information one needs for care in the healing process. She’s made full recovery and feels great! I’ve recommended Dr. Kandil to several of my friends and neighbors, they too have had positive experiences! Highly recommend Dr. Kandil!
