Dr. Abdul Malik

I saw Dr Malik after being admitted to Saint Mary’s Medical Center. From the moment he walked into my room, I could tell he didn’t want to be there. He asked very few questions and did the absolute bare minimum. Listened to my heart and lungs and left the room. He has been dismissive, not just of my pain, just in general. I will refuse treatment from him if I ever get assigned to his care in the future. I could tell this was not new behavior. I was under his care for several days despite him trying to discharge me prior to a diagnosis being found. The nurses never said anything directly but it was clear he is not well liked. I am an oncology patient whose cancer has spread throughout my body. I would rather not get treatment over having him be my physician. I’ve never met a more rude medical “professional”

The receptionist was so rude for having to do her job. Miss I’m not asking for you to do open heart surgery on me just send over my prescription

Dr. Malik was rude and condescending and spent 2 minutes once per day with me while hospitalized for 3 days. I cannot believe he is allowed to be a doctor with such poor service.

Discharged individual still on antibiotics from serious infection never tested to see if clear. Asked patient month later if gone. Has not reviewed diabetic log for recent disgnosed patient numbers with insulin near 200s even after fasting. Called about cold on hold 45 minutes then hung up on prior week called said return call before practice closed never called. When called back phone said office closed though posted hours run later then called. Appears to have no concern for patiet.

Really experienced Doctor he really takes his time with his patients and takes care of any and all concerns. He knows what he is talking about.

Dr. Malik is very accommodating and provides great care. He is also takes the time to address all needs.
