Caring, Compassionate and Patient
Without a doubt, this was the best experience we've had since discovering my mom has cancer. The staff at the Downtown office are amazing and kind. Every single person we encountered was helpful, friendly, upbeat and professional without being stuffy. Dr. Spalding is a special gift to Norton's, and I hope they appreciate the level of care he gives his patients. He spends as much time as needed to explain your condition, the procedure, your after care etc. We know our mom will not be cured, but that did not prevent Dr. Spalding from making sure he did every thing he could to make her comfortable and squeeze every last day out for her. Thank you Norton's Downtown for going above and beyond, and I only wish all of the other locations would take a page from your book of care.

Another top notch doc at the Norton Cancer Care Institute. 3 months ago I had pretty much given up hope of walking again, and pretty much any quality of life, compliments of my MBC. Dr Spalding and his wonderful and gracious team were added to my care team by my much trusted, Dr LaRocca... together they all pulled it off! I am walking, 3 months earlier than predicted, and my quality of life is again worthy of waking up each morning... highly recommend this gentleman and his team, as I do my entire cancer care team. From entry in the front door to exit, the patient is put first, treated respectfully, and really feels cared for by this entire staff.... Thank you all for helping me and pushing me forward to a better spot! Could not ask for better doctors (Aaron Spalding and Renato LaRocca), or a more caring comprehensive staff! Norton is luck to have you, and so are your patients!

Pretty sorry when a dr doesn’t give a seriously ill cancer patient enough meds to get to the next appointment then you call the office to see if they’ll call you some in and they are unhelpful and say you need to wait til next appointment for they’ll talk to you and tell you they’ll call you back but of course never do. But they sure are prompt about getting the bill to you in a quick manner. I would recommend finding a dr with a little more compassion. Please find another profession. Mayb sales

Horrible...he carelessly radiated the wrong area of my son's tumors, so he had to get an immediate craniotomy, which the stereotactic radiosurgery was suppose to prevent. Found out 5 days later, after spending 9 hours at the ER. Dr Spaulding never called me, and only met after I sent him an email a week later. I, at least, wanted him to go over it with me in person. He also sent me out the door without steroids Dec 23, assuring me nothing would happen to my 14 year old son. It did...on Christmas
