Excellent Doctor
I have been treated multiple times by Dr. Loyd over the past few years and I rate him as excellent in all respects. He surgically removed multiple cancers from me including two MOHS procedures, one on my nose. They were all 100% excellent.

I got in next day which I thought was great, but unusual since it usually takes months to get an appointment to see dermatology. He discounted my recollection of pre malignant melanoma removal on my scalp. I asked if he could get past medical records so we could make sure what prior biopsy result were and he seemed un interested in doing so. He said the new lump that is on my scalp in same area is likely not related to my past excision, but really didn't do much looking. He said we could do a punch biopsy if I wanted. He made me feel dumb for being there. I called and got my past results from my biopsy and I had Basil cell carcinoma. My prior doctor from far away is suggesting I get a biopsy done. Not really impressed with this guy, who made me feel like I was wasting his time.

Dr. Lloyd was very friendly and knowledgeable. His office manager and receptionist were rude. There was an issue with my insurance and both the manager and receptionist kept almost yelling at me across the room in front of other patients. They were insisting that it was my fault that insurance wasn't confirmed prior to my appointment. Absolutely not true. Why would I make an appointment and show for it if my insurance didn't cover it. Not once they apologize for the misunderstanding.
