Dr. Aaron Creek, MD

Dr Creek did a fusion on my L5 S1 in October 2023 and did a fusion on my c4-c5-c6 in May 23, 2024. Before my fusions, I was miserable and living in constant pain. I would always have trouble sleeping with getting 3-5 hrs of interrupted sleep, with several naps throughout the day. Now I can do anything with the family pain free. My back and neck feel like they are in their 20s again, but with limitations since I’m 46.I would highly suggest to anyone to go see Dr Crerk if you are having any sort of back or neck issues. He’s a doctor that will sit and listen to you and explain what he sees in the x-rays and go over options that is best suited for your needs. He does not try to push you in one direction, he lets you decide. He is Dr that actually cares. The only thing negative I have to say and it’s not the doctor. It is the phone system. It’s kind of wonky so don’t let that deter you. From what I understand, it is the phone system that is messed up in the entire building.

Dr. Creek performed extensive spine surgery on me and I couldn't have had a better surgeon. Dr. Creek was professional and compassionate. He explained everything in depth and answered my questions thoroughly. He addressed any concerns I had and made sure I had a good understanding of the procedure and the aftercare. His staff is friendly and attentive. My recovery is going better than expected and it is life changing to be out of pain. I highly recommend Dr. Creek.

Dr Creek is the BEST surgeon EVER. He is caring, explains the process extremely well and has a great staff that works with him.

Dr Creek is the best doctor I’ve ever been to. So many back issues; he did a fabulous job on my back. 7 levels of spinal ( lumbar) fusion. He was honest about what I could expect. I went to UAB, Mayo. He was the one that told me he could and would do it. I’m not back to “normal “. But I’m able to get more out of life than the last 10 years! His staff is great. His bedside manner is so reassuring and empathic. I’m a retired RN and I have never been to or been around a more caring MD. I have sent many folks to him and am always thanked profusely.

He brought me in as if he was eager to help. I’ve been treated as insignificant since. As a healthcare provider with multiple previous spinal surgeries I am appalled at his lack of compassion and willingness to help. Don’t bother!

Set an appointment but never called. 0/10. Don’t waste your time! I’m a medical provider who has been through multiple spinal surgeries. Never have I been treated so poorly!

Dr Creek is THE BEST surgeons I’ve ever seen I had severe spinal stenosis and reverse Lordosis. Due to car accidentI I had when I was 18 . Had four fusions in my neck! due to COVID-19, I did not want to spend the night in the hospital. I was able to get up and walk out of the hospital that night with less pain than when I went in . I’m 51 and have had several surgeries through out my life. He is by far the best! Great bedside manner. LISTENED to everything I said & explained everything thoroughly. He called me at home to make sure I was OK after my surgery. The office staff is wonderful his nurse Cami Is great. My husband has an appointment next week. Anna made it convenient for my husband (who works in the healthcare) for us to come in at the same time for my postop appointment. They are wonderful! He fixed my husband’s neck and lower back UPDATE I Had a seizure for the first time ever. had some neck pain called the office told them felt like I had A screw loose (lol) he sent me for e X-ray and I did . They got me in and fixed it. Especially as a woman if every doctor LISTENED like he did . Women would be much happier with their doctors.

I'm 46 y.o. male with about 5 years of neck I issues. I've been through all the therapy, injections, meds, etc. I just wanted results. My first appointment with Dr creek was beyond impressive. He looked at my imagery and listened to everything I had to say. He thoroughly explained what was happening in my neck. We discussed surgery alternatives but then moved forward with disk replacement. When I say this doctor cares, I mean the man called me at home, at night while he was at home to see if I had questions. I then scheduled the procedure for the next month. Again, he calls on his cell, at home to talk through it. The day if surgery was EXACTLY as he described. He said I would arrive at 6am and get started at 7. No kidding, at 6:58 they pushed me into to operating room and knocked me out. Just over an hour later, I was done. I'm 8 weeks out now and feel great. No pain at all and the scar is minimal. Dr Creek has called repeatedly to check on me. This is how medical care should be.

Based on my personal experience I would absolutely recommend Dr. Aaron Creek. After three years of almost constant pain, spine injections & therapy that didn't help, and conflicting diagnoses I contacted Dr. Creek for a 3rd opinion. He expertly explained my condition, options, risks and recommended the best course of action. When my pain suddenly became unbearable (on a holiday weekend) I called Dr. Creek. He immediately reworked his schedule, waived routine pre-op procedures and had me scheduled for surgery the next day. After surgery the pain was gone and I felt like I finally had my life back. I don't believe you can find a more professional, caring and capable spine surgeon than Dr. Creek.

Dr. Creek is the absolute best orthopedic surgeon! He is so personable and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough good things about him! We are truly blessed to have him as our doctor.

I never usually write reviews on doctors. I am a nurse and I just dont think its in good taste to do so, but I have to share my experience with this doctor. After the initial shock of my mom getting an infection in her wound, which is always a possible complication after a procedure like hers. Dr. Creek made me a promise and kept it. Dr. Creek kept me personally updated on my mothers condition and we discussed her care as a team. I highly recommend him as he is a go getter and will not let his patients suffer. He treated my family like we were his own. I am so grateful to have had the experience under the circumstances we were facing at this time. He was compassionate and caring during a very difficult time my family was going through.
