Care Philosophy: Dr Margaret Mercado is a family medicine physician with special interest and experience in women s health care and pediatrics Believing that patient education is instrumental in health care management she strives to establish a positive rapport with her patients and involves them in their care plans She was drawn to medicine to serve others fulfilling that through both her practice and community service such as helping underserved women Dr Mercado speaks fluent English and Tagalog and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians In her off hours Dr Mercado can be found outdoors boating canoeing or taking leisurely walks She also enjoys reading and spending time with her husband who is also a physician
