Specialty Nutrition and Health

I was referred to Specialty Nutrition after a recent diabetes diagnosis. It took several phone calls/messages to get appointment set up. They then tell me that I need to confirm that my insurance would cover nutrition visits. As a patient with insurance, I am used to the provider verifying this information. On my first visit, I guess I was expecting a more formal setting. I was not weighed, measured or anything of the like. I was asked what I weighed and how tall I was etc.... My second appointment was set for 4 weeks later. Unfortunately due to illness I was unable to make the 2nd appointment. I reached out to my contact the evening before via personal cell phone number provided. She never responded to me that day. The next day that my appointment was scheduled, she responded that she just saw my text and I would be charged a last minute cancel fee which I was charged immediately. I let her know that I reached out the day before and with me being unemployed this would be an undue hard
