Dr. Balderston
Dr. Balderston very kind. She was easy to talk to and explained things very well. I felt I had her complete concentration while she was with me. I will miss her greatly as she is retiring at the end of this month. I will forever be great full that my real estate agent referred me to Hanbury Family Medicine 16 years ago! Enjoy your retirement!!

Great Medical Practice
I've been going there for over 10 years, with Dr. Zhang as my provider the whole time. No problem getting appointments. Staff is always pleasant to me. I'm not hurried through my appointments, like some practices do. Dr. Zhang has always taken extra time to listen to me and help solve my medical issues. If he left, I would follow him to the next place. How many times have you said that about a doctor?

Wasn't seen until 40 minutes after my appointment. The appointment (with a physicians assistant) went well....or so I thought. Later in the day, I got a call from the office manager implying I had lied to the front desk about exposure to COVID and COVID symptoms. I was not looked at for a possible sinus infection and the fact that I refused a COVID test put me on report. If I can't go to a doctor because of a cough I've had for 10 years, I'll never be seen by my PCP. I'm allergic to everything so sinus infections are routine for me. Time to find a new doctor.

Tried calling for an appointment today and was met with a very long wait on hold followed by a very rude person on the other end. I was told that there was no way to see a doctor there and if I needed to be seen, I should go to any urgent care facility I could find. When I called back to see when an appointment could be made at this office, I was met again with a very long hold followed by rudeness again, "I told you you needed to call every morning to see if there's space for you." As far as the doctors, not even sure what to say. The front desk person(s) answering the phone isn't doing the practice any favors.

The last 4 times I’ve tried to make an appointment because either myself or my husband was sick we have not been able to get one. When I called last week because my husband was having abdominal pain I was told they don’t see sick patients in the office. They offered me a virtual appointment 5 days later. How do you palpate an abdomen virtually?? My husband is immune compromised, the last thing he needs is to go to an urgent care. And in this day of insurance companies not paying for ER visits, where are you supposed to get medical care? We need a primary care physician. Preferably one who we can count on when we’re sick, not one who only wants to do well visits.
