Avoid Tracy at Mainland Eye Clinic, Dickinson, TX. In March 2021 I was examined for HOURS when she told me I'd have to come back because they didn't "have time to finish. " After I received the $260 contacts, I KNEW they would not work for me. For 2 months she and Dr. Broman had me try various combinations using 1 new and 1 old lens. NONE worked for me. When I FINALLY said I want to return them (under warranty) Melinda said she would "have to see how much" I got back. In 25 conversations with 4 different people and more than 140 minutes, it was NEVER mentioned that I would be penalized financially if I returned them. I kept mentioning bi-focal lenses as an option but Dr. Broman said he didn’t want to do fittings so I asked if he would write me a new RX for contacts to fill elsewhere. They did. When I received them they were EXACTLY THE SAME as the 1st ones because Tracy wrote the RX for the SAME ones as before. $100 more wasted thanks to her. I had to shorten this a lot.
