I am a first responder in the Chattanooga area. I'll be honest, I really didn't want to talk to anyone about what I've seen and been through. I made an appointment at Phoenix Health only to appease those in my life who think I'm struggling with things. I went into my first appointment with the mindset that "no one will get me." I was wrong. Janelle took time to learn about my job and the stress of it. She didn't rush me through the difficult parts. She explained trauma and the options better than anyone ever has to be me before. I gave her a chance because of her first responder volunteer positions. It is clear, she truly cares about mental health, first responders, and healing from trauma. I have no hesitation in recommending her and her team to any responder, to any person for that matter. Shout out to Sarah Beth, who is the first responder coordinator, who went above and beyond for me. These two ladies have been needed in Chattanooga for a long time.

I'm new in this area and had no idea where to go. Everywhere was a 6 month wait everywhere that I called until I found these guys. They got me in within a week. Although, I've only had a couple visits, I feel like this place really cares.
