Tower Health Medical Group Pediatrics

Today, I took my sick 5month old baby here for an appointment that he was scheduled for. We were dismissed and told he could not be seen because they no longer take our insurance (which is not true.) the receptionist didn’t even look at my updated insurance card, and then made up two different lies trying to cover herself after the fact. I sat in the parking lot with two sick children while on the phone with my insurance company for 30 minutes. The insurance agent called into the office with me on the call and did their job for them - verified my insurance. By the time it was all done, they ended up telling me that my child could not be seen because it was too long past the appointment time. Remember, this was their mistake. Ended up having to take him to the emergency room for care. He’s even more miserable through all the car rides, late bottles, and waiting room time. We have been established at this practice for almost five years and literally tossed of the practice w/no regard.
