Dr. D is fantastic and you really feel listened to -- but there is always an issue with insurance billing or authorizations. This last time, the office literally didn't submit the visit to my insurance carrier. *This is "normal" insurance from my corporate job mind you, not an auto/work comp carrier or anything out-of-the-ordinary.* In the past, when my husband needed a test, the billing/admin staff did not listen to us when we said we needed an referral submitted and the tests were not covered because of a lack of authorization. (This was literally my job in another doctor's office, so I know what I am talking about when I tell providers what type of referral is needed). I still have copies of the orders for bloodwork which show that they have my insurance on file; the claim was just not submitted. I was instructed to call the number on the St. Clair bill, which takes you to a 3rd party billing provider who does not spur confidence that the issue will be resolved. St. Clair sucks
