Avoid Dr. Hunter Martin for Jaw Surgery or Geniopl

I strongly advise against treatment with Dr. Hunter Martin due to significant complications and poor care: Lack of Pre-Surgical Communication: My surgical plan was shared only an hour before the procedure. Unnecessary Costs: I paid $5,000 out-of-pocket for a secondary surgeon, Dr. David Hirsch, who was neither present during surgery nor involved in my care. Post-Surgical Negligence: A broken surgical wire was left lodged in my jaw, causing daily pain and requiring revision surgery. Despite initial health concerns, Dr. Martin refused to remove it. Dismissive Post-Op Care: When I reported severe lip incompetence, Dr. Martin suggested filler instead of addressing her improperly performed sliding genioplasty. Standard one-year follow-ups were never scheduled. Unprofessional Billing Practices: I was sent to collections over a post op visit they made me pay for. This experience left me in pain, financially strained, and in need of corrective surgery. Avoid this practice.
