lack of professionalism and care
The front desk phone conduct is simply unacceptable. As an existing patient, my several attempts to schedule an appointment were met with blatant rudeness. On each call, this same individual was combative and refused to provide any help, even if my conditions range from troublesome to emergent. While this point may be less relevant, it reveals a callous disregard: she also refused to adjust her headset to minimize noisy conversations going on in the background. Sad to say, the lack of training in patient relations is also on view with doctors. As other reviewers have stated, on more than one occasion Houghton was dismissive and condescending during our appointments. Siamas is better and seems capable, though it's hard to believe she is completely unaware of the glaring problems with the gatekeepers. After yet another negative, unsuccessful experience today, it can't be overstated: paying expensive new patient fees is an investment in quality longterm care and we deserve better.
