Predatory business practices to ruin your credit
Went in with swollen hand from a fall, they x-rayed it and saw the pinky finger was broken. They gave me a brace to immobilize the pinky, didn't fit it on my hand properly and I told the doctor the brace hurt but he told me I needed it for my hand to heal properly. Nurse told me good thing your insurance covers this brace because it is expensive ($785 to be exact). Then after they bend this brace onto my broken pinky (it really hurt) they ask me to sign a dispensing receipt for the brace. Guess what? My insurance doesn't cover it and the dispensing receipt says I am responsible for paying for this overpriced brace. I don't have an income and can't afford $785 for a brace that still hurts my pinky when I wear it. They didn't even tell me as an option that I could get the brace somewhere else. They are supposed to help people not add more pain to an already painful situation. Don't come here.
