I went in because I was having some problems with my eyes. After being examined for a few minutes, Dr Marilyn Gonzales told me I needed to have cataract surgery and referred me to another facility. They took my 95.00 dollars for the exam in cash, didn't even give me a receipt. I went and got a second opinion, and turns out I don't have cataracts, they even dilated my eyes, took pictures of them very thoroughly, gave me eye drops and a prescription and literally within a week my eyes are already feeling so much better. I have heard that cataracts is a 'cash cow' business, and with the way this doctor (and I use that term loosely) was so quick to jump on that diagnosis, I fully understand why that term was designated to this surgery. Sad. Very sad. Oh and as a little side information, the other doctors office was extremely thorough with several exams, dilation, and pictures, for only 155.00. Saved me thousands!
