I'm going to be honest - not for me. I tried seeing the more popular doctor that was recommended to me. I sat in her office for close to an hour, kind of explaining everything and every so often being cut off, but I wasn't necessarily completely engaged or interested anymore in the doctor. So the next day I called to cancel future upcoming appointment with her. She calls me later and starts asking me what happened. I simply explained that it was not going to workout I felt as if the direction she wanted to go wasn't really my style. She then perceivably got upset and then kept telling me 'well thats okay you can atleast see your old doctor that you where happy with'. which my main complain to her was i needed a new doctor since I was unhappy with him. I felt extremely anxious and insulted after this. why call back to just insult me? All this to say DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU PRIORITIZE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH!

I was scheduled an appointment with Dr. Gefter for a Thursday at 7:15pm. I felt that was a bit late but i received reminders and confirmed the appointment a few times. They receptionist also wrote it down on the appt. card: when the time came I did NOT receive any email to login to the Telehealth mechanism they utilize. I emailed, left a voicemail for the office, then eventually text the doctor himself. Eventually, 25 minutes after the appointment was supposed to happen I receive a response: “Running late….Will happen.” You know, as a courtesy apparently. I guess his doctorate trumps my life and is more important as is typical behavior of doctors and an elitist. I highly recommend avoiding this practice as they do not know the meaning of professionalism or courtesy. What’s behind the smile is not worth it. There was no courtesy and no communication until I had to investigate why so late. I received a link 45 minutes later.
