Today (Wednesday 7/28/2021), the Toms River office was running very late. My appointment was scheduled for 2:45 PM and I was seen by my PA at 3:30 PM. The office manager was trying to “white wash” the situation, while not being able to address the real cause. I suspect that Dr. Avery told the front office to scheduled more appointments then the PA's could handle, not allowing them enough time to spent with their patients. They cut the normal interval to a very unrealistic period of time, causing a compounded long delay for all patients with appointments. The front area was full of people waiting for their appointments, while the receptionist I dealt with was unfriendly and had a negative attitude. I complained to the office manager and asked her how she would feel if all patients were 45 minutes late. She told me she wouldn’t like it. I requested that in the future, if they run late, they should have the decency to call the patients, letting them know they are running late.
