Wilmington Gastroenterology

My doctor referred me to Wilmington Gast.. Supposedly they called me multiple times, but not once did they think to leave a message. My doctor gave me their number, I left 4 messages, and I have no idea if they called me back. After my doctor reported to me they said they could not get in touch with me, I told him to refer me to someone who actually acts like a professional! The tone is set at the top, so clearly the doctors don’t value anybody else’s time, and think they are only ones on earth who are busy. They call, we are supposed to drop everything jump on the phone because they think they are more important, and they should not leave a message.The only way I got a response from them, was when I left a 5th message, using colorful language.. That time, and that time only, they returned my call, and left a message. I guess that is what it takes to get someone to do the arduous task of leaving a message!HIPPA doesn’t prevent them from leaving a message to call them!

My name is Sean and I'm 27 years old. Before coming to Wilmington GI I was referred by our family physician here in Wilmington N.C. I read the reviews and trusted my family physician that this place would take care of me with hemorrhoid issues that have been going on for a couple months. My first appointment was in the first week of January and the Doctor had recommended "Banding" over surgery in which I trusted him because he is the professional and this place seemed like they would resolve my issues. After the initial appointment, a flexible sigmoidoscopy was next to monitor my colon and rectum for the presence of ulcers, polyps or other abnormalities by inserting a tube with a camera into the rectum. After the Scoping I was scheduled for my 1st banding treatment. The 1st banding went okay but there was still a ton of questions I had no answers to, but I trusted the Doctor because that's what we are taught to do. The 2nd one was scheduled for 02/25/22.
