This doctor’s office is great aside from one glaring issue. Ami Crabtree has no business working with people. She has one of the worst attitudes I have ever seen from an (alleged) professional. She has made me fight tooth and nail to get my prescription refilled every few months for the last 3 years. Ami also gave grossly incompetent care to me while I was a teenager. She told me (a teenage virgin at the time) that her medical advice was for me to become sexually active to alleviate menstruation pains. As an adult, She would not allow me to get an IUD inserted by anyone but her, and she failed to insert it when I did go to her. I was finally fed up, and Ami has made me aware that if I am unhappy with her care, that I am no longer welcome at Novant at all. I am heartbroken that I have to leave the doctors office that I have grown up in. If you decide to try Novant, make sure that you see ANY provider other than Ami.
