Blue SKY Pediatrics Asheville

I tried my best to give this practice many chances but unfortunately it was unsuccessful. I have to say that the best service and care that my children received was by Dr. Williams. He always made us feel welcome. Dr. Williams answered any questions or concerns regarding our children in a genuine caring way. Our experience with Dr. Kiowa and Dr. Hamilton has been unpleasant. The interactions are brief with lack of interest in answering questions. Their attitude is condescending making me feel stupid for asking basic questions. Some of the nurses, also seems annoyed answering any important questions. The practice ‘s staff is a revolving door making it difficult to develop a rapport with the doctors. It very apparent that Dr. Kowa runs the practice just as a business with a dry treatment and true care of the patients. I don’t recommend this practice if you’re looking for more knowledgeable and genuine staff.

Dr. Williams is the best thing that ever happened to this practice, and now he’s gone. Three pediatricians leaving at the same time, raises a million red flags for me. My Blue Sky “family”put my son’s health and well-being at RISK by refusing to send an order to the pharmacy for a medicine that Dr. Williams had prescribed just last week. This is a medicine that cannot just be stopped abruptly without adverse effects, and their staff literally told me that it wasn’t their problem anymore. I had requested my sons records be sent to a new practice a few days ago, and they were clearly angry with me for doing so. I have fiercely loved and highly recommended Blue Sky for so many years, but now I would never take anyone I care about here. This place is clearly unraveling at the seams, and I would avoid it altogether or find a way out immediately. This whole thing breaks my heart.
