Excellent clinic, great doctor
My closest CBOC is Lansing. I have personally witnessed mistreatment of veterans there and refuse to set foot in the place. Jackson CBOC is like a breath of fresh air. I receive as good, if not better care as I receive from my civilian providers. Dr. Hendrickson is excellent. It's obvious she reviews my file before she enters the treatment room. She listens intently and offers lifestyle changes w/o making me feel guilty. At my last visit she saved me a considerable amount of money by switching all of my medications/supplements to the VA pharmacy. I recommend the Jackson CBOC to all the eligible veterans I know and they all thank me after their first visit. It's too bad the director of the Jackson CBOC can't clean house in Lansing.
