DFD Russell Medical Center

With the exception of a few years living out of state, I have been a patient at DFD since the late 80s. Dr Barus and Dr Yindra were both incredible. Since their retirement, this practice has significantly failed to meet expectations. My husband seems to have a new PCP every year, because they cannot keep doctors on staff. It is impossible to reach anybody, or schedule sick visits. Over the last year, ConvenientMD has been my go to for sick visits, as there is no sense of urgency on the part of this practice, when it comes to seeing patients. For example, I called on a Thursday about a possible UTI, and was told that they could see me the next Tuesday. I called about a shingles outbreak, and was told that they only see patients with shingles if the rash is on their face. While my current PCP, Dr Stanley, seems to be a good doctor, I have only ever been able to see her for physicals. It might be time to find a new practice!
