Today I saw Jay for my visit. He was so welcoming and showed great concern for my wellbeing. I appreciate being told the truth about what to expect. It is never a dreaded Doctor’s appointment when I go to the Mt. Airy office. It’s nice how well they know me and clear they have read the forms they gave me complete before I arrive. I believe these questions give them a good idea before I arrive about how my last month has gone. They are thorough in the breadth of the appointment and take their time with me. I appreciate the practitioners I have seen these past couple of years. I have never walked away disappointed. I know they will continue to help with my chronic pain in every possible way. At the same time, they never tell me they will make it stop. They do, however, make certain to make it bearable for me and have clearly improved my quality of life. Thanks to Jay and all who service this office. I appreciate you.

I have been coming to Dr. Rao for several years. He is by far, the most caring, compassionate and knowledgeable physician I have ever encountered. Not only does he do a great job managing my chronic pain, but I can tell he truly cares about me (and of course all of his other patients) and even asks me about some other health problems I have been struggling with out of genuine concern for my wellbeing and quality of life. He has graciously made accommodations for me when I had to have procedures and he always keeps my best interest, and the interest of his patients, in mind. I would recommend this practice and this physician to any and all disabled vets and/or anyone else struggling with chronic pain.
