I was suffering horribly from a painful throat that kept me up all night choking on my own saliva & unable to swallow food or drink. They said my ins. wouldn't pay for a rapid strep test, so I paid $60 out of pocket. They then charged me $25 copay for a virtual visit, even though I asked to be seen as I was there in person. They were scared of potential strep. Once they charged my card for the copay, only then did they inform me that the doctor wouldn't be getting back to me until AFTER 4:30 (it was 8:45 in the morning) bc they had to 'get through all their in person patients first' ( there were exactly NONE in the place). I didn't appreciate be relegated to second class bc they deemed me potentially too contagious. They assured me I'd get an email w/in half an hour w/ the results. I had to call and wait 20 mins on the phone 1.5 hrs later. They said it was negative. I then came to Medstar & they redid the test & it came back positive! They didn't upchrge me or force me to go virtual.

Don’t go here unless you want to be left waiting over two hours and then when the doctor comes in being told you should feel lucky you’re seeing a doctor at all. Typical doctors that think only they are important - patients are just sheep that can be treated like animals.
