I chose this practice because they were familiar with my self-pay health coverage. They matched me with their new practitioner, Patricia, who is very down to earth and not pushy, which I really appreciate. However, at my last appointment, an annual physical, when it started running long, she rushed me through my list of questions and said I’d be charged extra because the appointment was really like two appointments. Also, they refuse to do a regular physical and a Pap smear in the same appointment. My previous doctor always did that. They told me it was because of insurance. Hmmm. I don’t have insurance. I don’t like being lied to and nickel and dimed.
