Never
St Anthony's lives up to its well-earned reputation as the worst hospital in NWI once again. The treatment of my partner was uncaring & had no compassion for me or him. I'm sure that he was treated poorly. I was not allowed to see him or even step foot in the hospital. The nurses that called showed no concern for him or for my feelings. They were quite cheerful in addressing the fact that he was in fact dying. I was forced to call on my durable Power of Medical Attorney to insist they help him through the physical act of dying. The nurse that called me to inform me he had finally died was, again, very cheerful, not showing any sense of compassion or awareness that I may be extremely said. The final insult was when staff lost his personal items. Three months later, and they have never been found. I have had to face horrible treatment of loved ones & myself for many years. If an ambulance is needed, we have NO choice.
