Traumatizing
Fall 2023, dentist suggested strongly that I needed to get bone grafting on my lower, front gum area. I had this done in January 2024 at an out-of–pocket cost of $3,000.00. I have a small area of permanent numbness and the specialist didn’t care. March 2024, started the process of ordering new dentures (top and bottom). Dentist said that the bone graft was not sufficient and the fit of the lower dentures will not be favorable.Submitted dental insurance claim and my out-of-pocket payment to dentist of $880.00 was made for work to be performed. Between March and July 2024, multiple (6-8) visits were made and multiple molds of my mouth were taken.In July 2024, dentist presented me with the lower denture. When I asked to see the upper, he said that I had not told him that I wanted the upper as well. I pointed out that the estimate detailed the upper and lower and my out-of-pocket payment was for upper and lower, and that the insurance had paid for upper and lower. He seemed conf
