Lifeways

I've been a patient with Lifeways for a few years now; in fairness I should've transferred my records to a better provider years ago but they make it such a pain for me to get anything done that I've just shut up and taken it... which in retrospect was probably the intended business model. The actual provider I talked to was polite at least, but the management of this place is the worst. It's nearly impossible to call them and actually reach someone that isn't a voice mailbox within the first few tries, and frequently whoever you do reach doesn't know what to do (with the person on at least a few occasions just hanging up on me with a curt 'IDK'). Bills are sent out frequently for appointments that do not seem to have ever occurred, and said bills can only be paid in-person or over phone calls (online billing in 2023? Impossible!) A lot of my other gripes are more nitpicks, like being prescribed medication without being told first what conditions I'm diagnosed with. Just... don't.
