Went for an annual check up for a previous scleral tumor. I was told that unless I agreed to having my eyes dilated, that they would not see me.

My 14-year-old had a stye removed mid-April. At the time of the procedure, Dr. Matthews said, " if it turns out not as flat as you would like, come back, we will take care of it for you." After her eye was given time to heal, about 2 weeks later I called to schedule another appointment - the stye went down slightly but NEVER went flat or even close to flat. It took a WHOLE 5 MONTHS to get back on Dr. Matthews schedule. 9/21/21, at the appointment we had to wait 5 months for, Misty, the Office Manager, says we need to pay full price for the procedure again. Misty tried to manipulate the situation to seem as if this was a whole new stye that grew BACK. Ummm, NO MA'AM, it was the same stye that Dr. Matthew failed to remove all of - which the doctor HERSELF SAID that may be a possibility and to come back if so. Even the other receptionist said, "you have a 10-day window..." EXACTLY, which is why I called within that timeframe, THEN WAITED PATIENTLY FOR 5 MONTHS!!!!! Insurance scammers!
