Not what I expected
They will not make an appointment for you until they have your medical records. Seems odd since it takes so long to get appointments these days. They lost the faxed records from my previous clinic twice, I finally hand delivered them spending half a day in travel. When able to schedule an appointment, I asked to see a doctor because I had been advised I needed surgery. In the first two minutes of the appointment, the doctor tells me he doesn't do surgery anymore. Wish I had been advised of that when scheduling. Dr was kind, explained what types of surgery could be done for my condition and suggested a referral. There are glitches in their new patient portal; it took 3 emails, 5 phone calls and 10 days to get my visit summary. During that time, I got a call from a clinic about that referral, but it wasn't the clinic the Dr. and I discussed. It took a few more phone calls to get the referral sent to the correct place. I know this is a big clinic, but sure seems very disjointed.
