Not happy with my experience with F. DeZarragga MD
I love the Miami Cancer Institute itself as all of the people are professional and caring. My experience with Dr. Dezarrage was completely different. He is full of himself, unable to take accountability for his own actions and his own department. My diagnosis was delayed for almost 2 months and each department kept blaming the other for the delay. He originally came across as knowledgable and caring but that changed quickly in my case. I am alone with limited access to transportation and an hour and a half away from Miami and receive my treatment in the Keys. He refuses to do virtual visits for me and threatens to stop my therapy if I do not see him in person although I have already made many visits to the center. From someone with a terminal diagnosis you would think he would be more caring and flexible with me and my care. I would like to replace him but fear for my continued treatment at this point.
