Do Not Recommend Seasons Hospice, Newark. DE
Terrible experience with Nurse Jen and Social Worker Layanda. Interactions reflected a minimum of 'just doing a job' approach, information about additional available services and placement in hospital hospice wing never communicated. Information only revealed when I inquired based on my own information gathering. Unfortunately, felt cases were assigned a monetary operational cost. In particular, Nurse Jen's demeanor, communication and attitude was short and curt. Any challenge in hospice case or patient she did NOT professionally handle well. I would not recommend Seasons Hospice or Nurse Jen.

I loved then until....
My son with ALS no longer qualified for hospice and to his mental health was difficult to place. They told me that they found a place and that it was going to be a better place than where he currently was. I was also told that I had to make a decision right away or we would lose out on this opportunity. It turns out that the place they put him in was a horror house. It was filthy without adequate bedding or basic equipment. Now I am fighting to get him out of there. They did a dump and run with him and now I fear that he is in real danger. The nurses at Seasons are best but the administration is pure evil.
