Couldn't be more pleased!
I was shocked to see negative remarks about Dr. Collins. I had a basal cell cancer removed from the top of my head. After watching it for 8 years with my PCP people a substitute physician recommended I get it checked out. Of course, it had grown since the initial check but I foolishly trusted my PCP's about just keeping an eye on it. Dr Collins is a sweet, caring person as was her entire staff. She is very upbeat and explains everything in an understandable manner. She said she could approach the removal in one of 3 ways. Since I was already in her office I chose that way. It was Mohs surgery and I was there 4 hrs. since Dr. Collins had to come back 3 times to remove a few straggler cancer cells. The best part is they can test the tissue removed on site and you leave the office with NO remaining cancer cells. From warm blankets, frequent checks on me to as many bathroom breaks as I needed, it was a wonderful experience. I tell everyone about her greatness and my satisfaction.
