Meridian Periodontics & Dental Implants

When I first met with Meridian, they never VERBALLY bothered to inform me that they're not in network. Catching up on paperwork, I saw my insurance(BCBS so big-reputable-widely accepted) had paid little. Prior, I had canceled a 2ndary procedure with them before I knew about this out of network because I was getting the 'used car salesman' vibe about them. My intuition was accurate. I called Merdian and asked them about this. They did their song &dance about full disclosure in the paperwork and that they in fact had told me through disclosures.Probably true but definitely not ethical business behavior. Verbal disclosure would have been ethical since this is likely a common theme with Meridian based on other comments here and the defensive, well rehearsed spiel by the rep when I called them on this. Are overbilling and unneedeed procedures going to be uncovered in the future? Wouldn't be surprising as I've already seen a crack in the foundation and there's likely more. BEWARE!
