Saint Francis Medical Ctr NICU

I don't even know who saw my newborn in the hospital, it was not memorable, and I had never heard of Sheridan Children's Healthcare until I got a call from COLLECTIONS saying I had a past due bill from them for apparently doing a newborn exam on my child. They could have simply called myself or my insurance company to resolve this billing issue (which I did resolve with insurance within 10 minutes of being aware of the situation), but instead they tried to damage my credit by sending to collections. Further, when I notified the collections agency that insurance would be paying the claim, they said I needed to contact Sheridan to get the bill out of collections, but could not provide me contact info. I tried numerous phone numbers I found online - all of which were wrong numbers or disconnected. They are apparently some sort of ghost company just here to overcharge for non-elected services and be unreachable. Clearly if I was given the choice, I would NOT choose them.
