Creekside Counseling Center, Redding, CA

Was in the mist of a breakdown and informed Creekside that I was seeking counseling. I informed them prior to my first visit at the pre visit evaluation that unless they were able to address my pasticular needs I would seek therapy elsewhere. I explained that I was in a fragile state and that I didn't have the time or strength to start counseling only to have it not work out. After approximately 3 visits the therapist said that my situation was to difficult and that he would stop seeing me. They were fully apprised of my diagnosis and my need to be assigned to a therapist well qualified to address my needs and concerns. I was reassured several times that Creekside was capable to addressing my needs. After being let go by my therapist I was then offered another therapist in their group. By then I went from bad to worse. The last thing someone in my situation needs is to be told is that I'm too much. At that point I could no longer trust that they would place me with a capable therapist.
