This is a complaint about a recent visit to PAMF-Dublin which was coded as Diagnostics instead of Preventative care and hence has been charged $$$ towards my deductible. My primary care physician is Dr. Brea Fisher. I had scheduled a preventive physical check up with Dr. Fisher on 8/26/21. I also made it very clear during our conversation that I was ONLY there for regular physicals and nothing else. However, she asked me if anything else was bothering me & we talked about my hip pain. She briefly checked it & asked me to do x-ray. However, I decided to not do the x-ray. After the visit, I realized PAMF had charged this as an outpatient office visit with a patient liability $$$. I never received any physical counseling during the visit that my discussion would be counted as a separate diagnostics visit even though I scheduled a preventative care visit.
