Unprofessional and possibly unsafe
Worst clinic I’ve ever experienced. First of all, they do check-in appointments for stimulants over the phone. It doesn’t matter if it’s legal, it’s unprofessional and possibly dangerous as they are not checking blood pressure. A patient can be on stimulants for YEARS and they don’t require an in-person appointment.Other than their unsafe and unprofessional handing of stimulants, they prescribed an antipsychotic without seeing me. A 10 minute phone call about side effects of an SSRI I was on lead to prescribing an antipsychotic. Over the phone. I phoned and sent an email about having SI due to the new meds with NO follow up. Desert health is fine with taking your money with no actual medical care. I don’t know how many emails I’ve received about providers abruptly leaving. I didn’t know my provider was no longer working there until my appt was missed- I never received a call at my appt time and I had to call THEM. That’s when they told me my provider had left.
