Desert Podiatric Medical Specialists

Regrettably I had to call to cancel any further appointments. Toenail fungus. Referred by PCP. Long wait to even get an appointment. Dr agreed with diagnosis of fungus. Gave me a blood test depending on the results of which I would get a prescription. Waited. Waited. A couple weeks later called about results of test. Oh, you should have been notified of the results. Didn't happen. Prescription sent for no known reason to my 'secondary' pharmacy. Must have been a mistake. Really? Just so happens that pharmacy does not call when med is ready. How was I supposed to divine that the prescrip had been missent and that it was languishing at a pharmacy which does not notify prescriptees? I was told by Desert Podiatry personnel that the prescription would be retrieved and sent to Humana mail order, as it should have been. 3 wks later still waiting. Toenail fungus still there. No word from anyone. So I called and cancelled. Was told by Desert Podiatry personnel that someone (dr/asst) would call
