I felt like a number or quota rather than someone genuinely invested in a shared investment in my concerned health and care. I was unimpressed with the “bedside manner” of the actual medical provider herself.

My PCP referred me to Dr. Dennert. My PCP’s office sent over a referral to ADH. Weeks went by and I didn’t hear from ADH. I called their office to make sure they received the referral. They had it but hadn’t contacted me. The receptionist (Christina) said she’d have Dr. Dennert look through the referral to see if she wants to have me as a patient. The receptionist asked quite a few ?’s & wanted to know why I was switching GI doctors. It felt like an interview. She said the office would call me soon to let me know what Dr. Dennert decided. A week passed & I didn’t hear anything. I called ADH again & spoke w/Christina. She said Dr. Dennert hadn’t reviewed my referral yet & she said she’d try to msg her again. She told me to call the office back if I didn’t hear anything. A week later, I called the office again. The receptionist said they had already left me a VM. I never received a call/voicemail. She said the DR said I wouldn’t be a good fit. I do not recommend this practice.
