I provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for the foot and ankle. I became interested in podiatry as a runner in junior high school. The three areas I enjoy the most are repair of fractures and dislocations, repair of deformities such as bunions, and sports medicine as related to the foot and ankle. In addition, I work to bring relief through reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.

I am an orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in hip and knee replacement. Patients with osteoarthritis, or any type of arthritis, may benefit from replacement surgery. When treating hip and knee arthritis, I think it is critical to exhaust all nonoperative treatments, and then to work with each patient to decide when it's the right time for them to have surgery. After surgery, I want to help patients get through recovery and rehabilitation as quickly as possible so they can get back to the activities they enjoy.

As an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine, I provide complete care of shoulder, hip and knee conditions. Over the past 20 years, I have cared for athletes at all levels high school, collegiate and professional. I have also spent many hours on the sidelines providing medical coverage. My favorite conditions to treat are hip arthritis using a minimally invasive direct anterior approach to hip replacement, ACL and meniscus injuries, arthritis of the knee and rotator cuff tears.
