Like his father before him, Dr. Bradenham is dedicated to maintaining an expert level knowledge base in the full breadth Gastrointestinal illness; however, he has developed unique interests in several diseases worth mentioning. Foregut motility and functional disorders, such as achalasia and gastroparesis, the treatment of pre-malignant lesions throughout the GI tract and the management of both fecal incontinence and chronic constipation are among these more specific interests. Perhaps most notably, he dedicates a significant portion of his practice to the management of Gastroesophageal reflux disease and is the principle medical consultant for the Heartburn and Reflux Center of Richmond. Through this center, he offers expedited comprehensive evaluations for GERD sufferers. He offers both FDA approved endoscopic anti-reflux procedures, Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) & STRETTA for appropriate patients, but most importantly makes sure that all patients he sees are offered the management that gives them the best possible opportunity for robust, long lasting disease control. Dr. Bradenham enjoys golf, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball & reading non-fiction, but he and his wife, Dr. Courtney Bradenham, spend most of their free time these days with their two young sons and family, here in Richmond.
